From his humble beginnings in Huntington, John Tully has been fixing cars in his driveway since the age of 15. He was a welder by trade, but his true talent was fixing even the most severely damaged cars, and making them look like new. Starting out, John ran a small auto body shop in Huntington Station, where customers would go to him for his exceptional service and expert workmanship. His wife Loranne, encouraged John to go off on his own and build his own business. John started off with a small rented building in Huntington, an air compressor, and a tow truck.  With John in the shop, his wife Loranne running the office, and his 2 year old daughter Cherylann in a pack and play, Tully’s Auto Body Inc. opened for business in 1992. For the last 30 years, John’s skilled craftsmanship, honest character, and jovial demeanor has brought customers to Tully’s from all over the island. John’s biggest motivation for success, was to provide a better life for his family. Today, John works side by side with his son-in-law and shop manager Josh Reller, and his youngest son Johnny. Tully’s Auto Body has been proudly serving the community for 3 decades and his two sons will continue his legacy.
